Getting Started:
A Technical Guide
This step-by-step guide explains how to register an account, sign in and purchase your courses.
1. Create Your Free Profile
- Click the button.
- Fill in your details. Don’t worry if you’re not an HPCSA member — that field is optional, so you can leave it blank.
- Once done, click Register to create your account.
Note:
The name you supply when signing up is the name that will appear on your certifications.
You may receive an email asking you to verify your address at this point. Make sure to check your spam folder.

2. Log in
Note:
If you have just registered and verified your email, you will likely be logged in already, in which case you can skip this step.

- Click the button.
- Enter the same email and password you used when registering.
- Once done, click Log In to log into your account.

Members of IMISA qualify for a 15% discount on the short courses offered on the IMISA Uteach platform.
If you have a promo code already, look for “Have a promo code? Apply here.” then enter the promo code in the box and click Redeem.
Confirm the discount is applied before proceeding.

- Click Pay Now to complete your payment.
- Follow the on screen prompts in the Payfast window to complete your secure payment.
5. Start Learning!
- After payment, you’ll be returned to our site automatically.
- Click My Learnings at the top right to see your purchased course(s).
- Click on a course to begin your learning journey.

- You will receive an email containing a link to download or print your certificate. Additionally, visiting "My Learnings -> Certificates" will allow you to see your prior certificates.
- You may be redirected to the course purchase page; if you already have previously purchased other courses or a bundle, simply go back to “My Learnings” as above to continue.
